Rule- based HCM Row level security

HCM application holds very sensitive data. Hence, the security requirements are more strict as compared to other applications. It has a special module to enforce row level security to control access to employee records one can see in their search results. There are many elements of Row security that can be used depending on the needs of business. Maintaining it manually is a cumbersome task.

We have developed Rule-based Row security solutions (bolt-ons) for HCM application to auto assign Row security based on predefined Business rules. An example rule could be “Anyone who gets HR Administrator role should get Row security access to their Home department as a baseline”. You can feed this rule in the system, and it will auto assign Row security.

Translating your Row security requirements into business rules can take most of the work load off from your security team. Then you are only dealing with the exceptions (the requirements that don’t fit into any rule).

Everything under ‘Security by Permission list’ and ‘Security by Department Tree’ can be auto assigned using this bolt-on.
